Katie Nowak (she/they) is a Chicago-based Actor and Stage Manager with hometown roots in Minneapolis, MN. She is a recent graduate from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Minors in Musical Theatre and Film. She has been a performer for over ten years, and she is currently playing Beatrice in Edge of the Wood Theatre's production of Much Ado About Nothing. Her recent acting credits also include Sweet Charity (Fandango Girl), Sofa King Queer (Patty Standby, Perf.), Sentinels (Maeve), Once (Baruška), As You Like It (Audrey), The Old Man and the Old Moon (Perry), and Polaroid Stories (Persephone/Semele). She also works as a Brand Ambassador for League of Chicago Theatres and an Overhire Event Technician at the Athenaeum Center for Thought and Culture. She loves to sing, write scripts, and curl up with her favorite fantasy novels when she's not in rehearsal.
